It’s about Love. It’s about Sharing. It’s about Christ.
Some of the best memories that I have as a kid is my family gathering together to play a board game! The age old staples of scrabble and monopoly always remind me of that special family time that we spent together especially during the holidays.
I really wanted to create these special memories with my own children and yet I wanted them to learn something of true value at the same time.
This is when I found these super fun family games that also teach about the Bible. As my children laugh, play, and spend quality time with mom and dad they learn the books of the Bible and how God’s love letter is put together just for us.
So we played Christmas Bingo first as Christmas is right around the corner!
I really loved the place markers. They are a beautiful clear circle of hard plastic that is fun to handle! This game is easy and fun for all ages even my 2 year old was able to play and match the images on the board with the markers! He had a great time seeking the image on the board, then placing the marker down. My children's ages range from 15 to a newly 3 year old and all of them really enjoy playing this game.
We also played the books of the Bible Bingo, that game was a great learning tool for learning the categories of the Bible including the major and minor prophets, poetry, Law, Paul’s letters, the gospels, etc.
I love how they broke up the books of the Bible to make it easy for the children to understand and know that there is a significant difference between the books yet they all work together to create one beautiful truth for them to embrace and learn.
My favorite by far was the Bible Memory Game. All my children were engaged and really working hard to match the books of the Bible.
What an easy and fun way to learn all 66 books of the Bible! My 8 year old really took the lead with her memory skills almost winning the whole thing! I have 7 Children and all of us played which is a great benefit that we were able to all play, many games do not have enough for all of us to play together.
I highly recommend all of these Bible Central Games not only for parents to play with their children but for the kids to play with each other and learn about our Wonderful Lord and His precious Book — the Bible.
